criteria
First and foremost, I am looking for niche companies that have separated themselves from the competition through a variety of factors such as operational expertise, branding, differentiated services or products, or superior service. Industry leader, experienced management, strong growth potential. In part, this is reflected by attractive margin profiles and the ability to generate meaningful free cash flow over time as the company scales.

STABLE CUSTOMER BASE
Solid customer base with high retention levels, preferably tied to long-term contracts.
GEOGRAPHY
Within a 1.5 hour drive from the Greater Metropolitan Areas of Toronto or Montreal.
STRONG PROFITABILITY
Continuous and predictable profit over the past 5+ years.
LOW CAPITAL INTENSITY
Business does not require significant ongoing capital or maintenance expenditures.
